 About the Boss

Thomas M. Jackson has been involved in the hotel industry for over forty years.
His professional experience has included time with Sheraton; where he was honored for "Quality Excellence" and as "General Manager of the Year"; Hilton; Holiday Inn; Best Western; Choice Hotels; Morrison's; and Stouffer's.

He founded Hospitality Hotel Group in 1987 and has owned and operated over twenty-five properties, primarily in the Mid-Atlantic States.

Tom has served on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Restaurant Association, the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the Virginia Hotel and Motel Association and The Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association. He currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for James Madison University, Hospitality & Tourism Management School.

He has been honored by AH&LA as Virginia's first recipient of the "Most Valuable Volunteer" award. James Madison University honored him with the "Dolly Madison - Excellence in Hospitality Award". Chosen "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce.

Training We Provide

  • Participation in Industry Association events and management seminars.
  • Annual company meeting, with open forum that encourages managers to share information.
